Things That Make Me Happy

1. Yesterday I went to the stationary shop during our lunch break because someone needed pens or something. Anyway, I found this:

It's a pen! Shaped like a lemon! :D !!!! *glee* It makes me feel so happy inside :D Josie got one shaped like a lime, but they were the only two left which was very sad. Otherwise I would have bought one for all of you! :P

I LOVES MY LEMON PEN :D :D :D *glee*

2. Today Catherine and Josie and I booked tickets for Starlight Express in Bochum! We were planning an epic whirlwind theatre tour of epic, which involved catching a train on Saturday morning to Oberhausen, then seeing the Wicked matinee which started at 3pm. It finished at 6pm, when we would have had exactly two hours to make our way back to the Oberhausen Hauptbahnhof, catch the forty minute train to Bochum, then find our way to the theatre in time for the 8pm showing of Starlight Express. Then we would catch a train back to Stuttgart, arriving at some stupid time like 4am. We totally could have done it and it would have been absolutely amazing, but if the slightest thing had gone wrong, like a train being five minutes late, it would have ended in disaster. So we decided to see a show on Friday night, stay the night somewhere then see the matinee and get home just after midnight. We decided on Starlight Express first because there's a decently cheap hotel right outside the arena :)

Anyway, check out this website http://www.starlight-express-musical.de/360-Panorama.259.0.html and click on the "Hohe Auflösung" link, and check out the amazing set! It's an epic arena production :D For those of you that have never heard of Starlight Express, it's an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical written in the eighties and is as awesomely lame as Cats. Instead of a bunch of people dressed up as cats flouncing around and singing songs with no coherant storyline, this show has people ON ROLLERSKATES pretending to be trains singing awesome eighties style songs with a random storyline somewhat like The Little Engine That Could. *glee* Oh man I am so excited for this show! *epic flail* added to the awesome lameness is the fact that this is a German production, making in 100 times more camp! This particular production has been running in Bochum since 1988 and the building it's in was built especially for it, with epic racetracks on different levels through the audience. EXCITEMENT.

I'm not sure how Wicked will stand up to the awesomeness of Starlight Express, but we're going to see it anyway :P I can just tell I'm gonna spend waaaay too much on merch for Starlight Express. I already have a ton of Wicked merch, I don't need any more. That having been said, I'm bound to impulse buy something :P

Oh man this week is seriously dragging along. It's still only Tuesday! Three more sleeps! *flail*
